Zach Miller started college at the age of 16 while also attending High School via the “Fast Track” program at Wallace State Community College. Zach was able to receive his Associate’s degree before his high school diploma. Zach thereafter attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelors in Political Science and concentration in American Government and Philosophy. At UAB, Zach Miller was a proactive member of the UAB Pre-Law Society where he was nominated for President, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, UAB Golden Key International Honor Society, National Society of Leadership and Success, Presidential Honors List, and Cum Laude Honors.
Zach also attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. While at Thomas Goode Jones, Zach was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity—Patterson Chapter, Black Law Student Association, and Women’s Legal Society. Additionally, among the handful of law articles that Zach wrote in law school, Zach received the CALI Award for Best Paper in Products Liability where he discussed the legal implications of vaping as well as the tax law implications on getting control over the regulations of such. Zach was also in the top third of his class. While in law school, Zach also worked on the highest levels of securities white collar crime with the Alabama Securities Commission, FINRA, and NASAA in efforts to protect investors.
After law school, Zach also attended Emory Law for an LLM in taxation. In Zach’s free time, he enjoys watching college football, going to the gym, spending time with family, and exploring the diverse restaurants that Atlanta has to offer.
